When we practice acceptance and move on to take action on those things where we can make a difference, however small those things may seem, we shift our perception from being helpless to being in charge, at least of some small aspect of our lives. When we are in charge of one aspect, our perspective shifts and we begin to see other aspects we can shift as well. As we feel more positive, we produce more feel-good chemicals in our brains, which affect our overall health, sometimes making us more alternative treatment for migraine disease, raising our stamina, further raising our mood.
